Experienced tutor in English language and literature

A graduate in Creative Writing, I have completed my studies in the UK at Falmouth University and the University of Cambridge. I can teach both language and literature, and can support students in their coursework up to A-Level and IB. I have tutored secondary school students, and also have experience in teaching younger children and adults. In language-focused lessons, I can prioritise grammar, vocabulary or professional English. I teach all levels from beginner to advanced. If preferred, I am able to teach in groups up to three. For beginners, my teaching style is focused on the practical, prioritising situations that come up in daily life when speaking. When improving a higher level of speaking or writing, I enjoy incorporating poetry and other creative works as a means to make the language feel more natural. I have spent a significant amount of time tutoring younger students in english literature, and have also taught adults wishing to improve their spoken and written skills. My main hobbies include reading and writing and I am particularly passionate about poetry. In literature, I prefer fantasy and adventure novels, but am also partial to historical romance. I write poetry in my free time.
